Winsted, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced a new partnership with Wisconsin-based company Concept seats. Together, Winsted and Concept Seating are working to equip control room operators around the world with durable, ergonomic consoles, workstations and chairs for 24/7 environments. Through their partnership, the companies will provide a complete solution for continuous use workspaces. Winsted is, of course, a global company for consoles and configurable control room furniture.
“Winsted engineers control rooms where design, function, detail and comfort work together seamlessly to create the very best in situational awareness,” notes Tracy Crocker, CEO of Winsted. “Alongside Concept Seating, Winsted strives to provide a complete solution for control room operators that aims to minimize fatigue and maximize performance.”

According to a statement, the companies have built appropriate control rooms with their users in mind and will ensure that components, such as consoles and chairs, are designed to support those who depend on them. A furniture system developed with intelligent ergonomics can become an extension of the operator’s body and mind. It can also pave the way for productivity, says Winsted.
“Concept Seating is thrilled and excited to partner with Winsted,” adds Joel Vento, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Concept Seating. “Our durable, high-performance seats provide superior comfort and essential ergonomic support for professionals in demanding environments.”
Whether it’s a state-of-the-art command center or simply an upgrade to existing setups, Winsted and Concept Seating emphasize that they can create the perfect solution for the space.
