Police are searching York for Charlie Sloane, 12, who disappeared yesterday and say they are concerned for his safety.

Police are looking for a missing 12-year-old child, last seen yesterday afternoon, and say they are concerned for his safety.

Charlie Sloane, 12, was last seen leaving an address in Hull Road, York.

North Yorkshire Police said they were searching a number of areas of the town and were concerned for his safety.

They added that Charlie was last seen wearing a red and black jumper.

A spokesperson said: “We are currently looking for a missing 12-year-old boy in York.

“Charlie Sloane was last seen leaving an address in the Hull Road area yesterday afternoon.

“We are concerned for his safety and are currently searching a number of areas in the city.

“Charlie could be wearing a red and black sweater, which he was last seen in.”
