Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE) and Hyundai Doosan Infracore showcased their advanced smart construction solutions and future unmanned construction equipment under the theme of “smart robotics†at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The Concept-X project allows the realization of a future safe and efficient site based on unmanned and automation technologies and XiteCloud, the first product to partially commercialize Concept-X technologies.

Concept-X is a complete control solution that measures and analyzes the topography of construction sites using 3D drone scanners and creates operation plans based on the topographic data. Concept-X is the world’s first smart building solution to successfully demonstrate the entire process, from measurement to equipment use, while being operated automatically without human intervention. Thanks to this solution, site managers can remotely monitor and control the entire process at the control center called “X-Center”.

“XiteCloud” is a cloud-based all-in-one construction platform that enables integrated management of construction sites. It provides a “digital construction platform” (XiteAnalyst / XiteFleet) which can analyze and plan 3D information and efficiently manage equipment in a cloud environment, and a “construction automation system” (XiteAuto / XiteSafety) that improves productivity and safety through equipment automation. .

Scale models of future construction equipment including excavators, wheel loaders and dump trucks were also on display.

Hyundai-Doosan Infracore plans to bring Concept X to market by 2025. In addition, Hyundai Doosan Infracore plans to complete phased verification of individual technologies such as topographic measurement using drones, data analysis, as well as the unmanned operation and management of construction equipment. These technologies will be brought to market sequentially.

noted,

“Automated and unmanned machines that apply advanced information and communication technologies (ICT), such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data and the cloud, will be the future trend in the construction equipment market. Said Young-cheul, CEO of Hyundai Doosan Infracore. Cho in a prepared statement.
